Polyester doesn't just harm the planet, it sheds microplastics that have now been found in human blood, lung tissue, and breast milk.

We started The Cloth because we couldn't find a brand that took that seriously. So we built one.

Every piece we sell is made from linen, wool, or organic cotton. Nothing else. No blends, no synthetics, no shortcuts.

We produce in small batches, drop by drop, because we'd rather do less better than more carelessly.

We're a female-owned team based in the Piedmont Mountains of Virginia. We ship every order ourselves. We know what's in every piece we sell.

At The Cloth, we’re happy to offer exchanges or store credit on eligible items to help ensure you end up with the perfect fit 🤍 As a small boutique working with limited quantities and mindful hygiene standards, all items must meet eligibility requirements outlined below.

What We Offer

We offer exchanges or store credit on limited drop items.

Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
Requests must be made within 30 days of delivery
Limited drop items are final sale, but may qualify for store credit at our discretion

To begin an exchange or store credit request, please email shop@theclothHQ.com with your order number and the item you’d like to exchange.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us within 5 days of delivery with photographic proof, and we’ll make it right with a replacement.

Exchange Process

Once we receive and inspect your item, your exchange or store credit will be processed.

Because we are a small team handling shipping, verification, and restocking by hand, please allow up to 3 weeks for the full exchange process to be completed.

Where is your fabric from?

All our pieces are handmade and sourced from small-batch, ethical artisans. We work closely with makers in Italy and Ireland, for our 100% Italian linen and Irish wool, respectively.

Because our materials and production are truly small-scale, quantities are extremely limited and styles may sell out quickly. Thank you for your patience as we restock.
